What made you decide to open an exclusive extensions salon?
Hair extensions are one of the hottest hairdressing skills around – they are incredibly popular at the moment. I am looking to double the number of specialist extension stylists in the new salon just to keep pace with the demand. The Michelle Griffin salon will have ten styling/extension stations plus a separate training academy where I will be in charge of education.
Will you still be providing everyday hairdressing services?
Yes of course we will, for both men and women. The salon team are experienced and highly trained cutters, colourists and stylists, but over and above these skills they will have specialist knowledge and expertise when it comes to hair extensions; techniques like sliding, slicing and point cutting either with a razor or scissors which are needed to ensure a perfect extensions cut.
What is the new salon going to be like?
In a word fabulous! The style is contemporary and sophisticated as befits an exclusive extension salon. The new logo with its vibrant red and purple is being used to give colour accents throughout to contrast with the minimalist interior design. The aim is to make our customers feel relaxed and happy and to enjoy spending time with us.
